Three Services at Our Kilsyth Site
Pick-A-Part Kilsyth brings together three distinct services in one location: a self-serve used car-parts yard, an adjacent scrap-metal buying yard and a registered public weighbridge. Check the relevant hours before visiting, as the parts yard and scrap/weighbridge operations follow different schedules.

Self-Serve Used Car Parts
The parts yard holds a changing range of passenger vehicles, SUVs, vans and light commercial vehicles. Search the Kilsyth inventory online before you visit, bring your own tools and remove the parts you need.
Flat-rate prices apply by part category, and QR codes around the yard provide quick access to the current price list. The self-serve model makes Kilsyth a practical option for DIY repairs, trade work, restorations and ongoing maintenance.

Scrap-Metal Drop-Off
The adjacent Kilsyth scrap yard buys accepted ferrous and non-ferrous metal from trades, construction businesses, automotive operators, industrial sellers, whitegoods installers and household customers. It is a drop-off service only; contact the team for current pricing or to discuss an unusual load before travelling.

Public Weighbridge
The Kilsyth public weighbridge can weigh cars, trailers, caravans and commercial vehicles and issue a weighbridge certificate. We are a Nationally Accredited weighbridge. Public weighbridge PW-0247
No booking is required during weighbridge operating hours.

Frequently Asked Questions
Have a question about how car recycling works, or what to expect when visiting our self-serve yards? We’ve answered some of our most common questions below.
Can I search only the vehicles at Kilsyth?
Yes. The Kilsyth page will show stock with the Kilsyth location filter already selected. You can also use the main Find Parts tool and choose Kilsyth.
What should I bring to the parts yard?
Bring enclosed shoes, your own tools and any safety equipment needed for the job. Check the vehicle location and part price before you travel.
Does Kilsyth accept scrap metal?
Yes. The scrap-metal buying yard is adjacent to the Kilsyth parts yard. Scrap must be brought to the site; collection and collection bins are not offered at this time. Trade customers are welcome.
Can I use the weighbridge without a booking?
Yes. The public weighbridge operates on a drive-in basis during its opening hours. It can accommodate a range of private and commercial vehicles up to its licensed limit.
What if the vehicle I need is not at Kilsyth?
Search the Campbellfield inventory or register for a vehicle alert. As vehicles arrive and leave regularly, check the live inventory again before a future visit.
